Why Your Internet Business Needs Pay Per Click Advertising

There are many more Internet business failures than there are successes. When you look at the reasons why it almost always comes back to traffic. The Internet businesses to succeed have consistent traffic coming to their site every day. The failures never have mastered getting traffic to their website.
In this article we will look at why paying for website traffic is great for your Internet business. We are not talking about all of those ads you see for 10,000 hits for $20 either. What we are talking about is getting targeted visitors that want to be on your website there using pay per click search engine advertising.
There are various forms of pay per click advertising that you can use, but the two that stand out come from the largest search engines, Yahoo and Google. The obvious advantage of buying traffic from Google or Yahoo is you control the amount of traffic that you get. With other forms of advertising, you are never sure the amount of traffic that you are going to get on a daily basis.
With pay per click advertising it only cost you money when someone clicks on your ad. You control the amount you want to bid for each click so you get to control your budget. The downside to this is that depending on the niche that your website is in the cost per click can be prohibitive for many website owners.
The only way around this is to develop a large list of hundreds or even thousands of keywords to bid on. By bidding on lesser search words you can lower your cost per bid down to as low as five cents a click. The way to maximize this is to use as many lesser searched keywords to get as much traffic as possible.
Once you have established your keyword list and set your budget and bid amount, it is important that you monitor the amount of traffic that it takes to generate a sale. By testing both Yahoo and Google, or any other pay per click search engine that you decide to use, you are able to zero in on the words that drive the most traffic to your site.
In summary buying traffic to pay per click search engines is a good way to build your Internet business. When you have put together a solid campaign the only way to make money on the Internet is to have consistent traffic in and confer some of that into sales. Pay per click advertising helps you do just that.

Is Pay Per Click Worth It?

Every time people talk about this traffic thing I bring up PPC and they say it is a gamble. Here's the deal: Did you know that with PPC I was able to build a list of fifteen thousand subscribers within my first year online for free?
I've been in front of my computer for hours today, but none of it was spent doing work. I've probably spent 30 minutes today on advertising, yet I got over 2000 visitors to my website. You wanna know why? Well the reason is that over the past few years I've spent about an hour or so a day building automatic advertising campaigns. What are automatic advertising campaigns? Well, there advertising campaigns that once you set them up, they run over a period of time or forever until you want them to stop. Let me give you an example:
I was watching TV(I almost never watch TV) one night and I saw a infomercial for a stock program that shows people how to make money selling stocks. Since I sell a product that shows people how to make money online. I though it wouldn't hurt to put up a PPC ad to use some of their advertising to send some traffic my way. So I decided to get out of "lazy mode" for a minute and create a PPC ad for using this particular product as a keyword. The next morning someone went to my site and purchased a $197 physical course because I spent 5 minutes creating an ad and 10 minutes writing a quick article. I have since made probable another $500 or so just from that Ad, and I have 1200 Ads out there just like that one. I have since had to take down that particular ad do to copyright reason but I have 1200 more ads out there.
So my whole point is that articles are great, I get them written for me, but you also should be leveraging your time because time is more valuable than anything. If I don't spend any time promoting my websites for the next 6 months I'll still get over 1300 visitors a day and 100 subscribers everyday. So I think once you start to see success with time intensive forms of advertising like article marketing, it's in your best interest to spend an hour a day to learn how to get as much traffic to your website as possible. Almost any niche can get a thousand visitors a day through internet advertising and not just through article marketing. And you don't have to have guts either, you just have to have the proper marketing funnel.
Here's to your success and God Bless.

PPC Search Engine Marketing: The New Age Marketing Technique

Search engine marketing is fast becoming one of the easiest methods of marketing your products and services via the internet. Although as a medium the Internet is an indispensable tool yet the whole marketing shebang is quite difficult because your audience is a nameless and faceless entity that you really don't know anything about. All you know is that a certain type of website appeals to a certain type of user but that's about it.
When you go about physically marketing your products in the real world there are a number of marketing techniques that you can use but in the case of Internet marketing the options are limited.
The best and the most versatile tool available to businesses on the net is the Pay per click search engine marketing technique. This technique has its roots in the Pay per click concept.
What is this pay per click concept? Let's take a look at it before we proceed any further. Pay per click basically means that you have a banner or an Icon that is displayed on the website of a related service provider or on a search engine results page. When the banner is displayed on a Search engine results page it is referred to as Pay per click search engine marketing.
Whenever someone clicks on that banner or Icon the advertiser has to pay the person carrying that banner. The payment is calculated on the basis of the number of clicks that the banner receives.
One issue that all new Pay per click search engine marketing users are unable to digest is the issue of fraudulent clicks that can jack up their bills. When you go in for a pay per click search engine marketing option you should gather as much information about that pay per click search engine marketing option as possible before you actually hand over any money. This will save you the frustration and embarrassment later. One thing that you need to remember is that the search engine marketer should have a fraudulent click grievance redressal system in place.
If you are thinking about Pay per click search engine marketing then the first thing that you need to do is decide when and where you are going to advertise. By "when" we mean in which season. By "where" we mean on which search engine marketing tool.
The most popular and versatile pay-per-click search engine on the internet with wide reach is Yahoo! Search Marketing ( this was previously known as Overture), which provides paid results to many of the major search sites such as MSN, AOL, Yahoo! and Lycos.
Another very popular program is the Google's Adwords program. This program will give you access to the search engine result pages of Google.
The two search engine marketing programs are the best in the field and will give you the best possible results. Another search engine marketing tool that is very popular in Europe is Espotting.
The major drawback with using these search engine marketing programs is that if you want to go in for some of the more popular search queries, these search engine marketing programs will prove to be quite expensive.
In case you have budget constraints the smaller PPC services may be able to help you out. This is a fact that most of them do not reach any of the major portals, but they do deliver results to a wide range of metasearch engines, and you will get desirable results for a very reasonable price indeed.
You would do well to remember that although organic Search Engine Optimization may generate traffic, it is not "instantaneous."
By making use of search engine marketing programs such as pay per click, you can receive the desired results and clicks a few days instead of months.
If you want to get instantaneous results it would be highly beneficial for you to have a pay per click search engine marketing program for your targeted keywords even if it is on a smaller Pay per click service.

Succeeding In Internet Marketing With A PPC Strategy

A unique instrument, Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing is most commonly used by e-commerce sites to draw pre-qualified traffic to your internet business. In case you are not familiar with the words PPC then type a common term, like "cars" in Google. You will come up with an index of approximately 10 natural or free searches besides which you will also notice PPC ads that are displayed at the sides and top of the majority of search results in Google.
These commercials look very much like the index of free search result but they all are commercials deliberately placed by businesses to attract targeted traffic to their websites. At my website of natural skin care, you might come across my ad under the words like "natural soap". I pay only when somebody clicks on that commercial. This enables me to fix the highest amount I am ready to shell out for a commercial click. A few key words, that is, the terms used in search engines, are not expensive and may cost little per word. However, the majority of keywords have a competitive edge and the keywords that have a high demand, like refinance, may come at quite a few dollars for each click.
PPC advertising appears to be the Holy Grail to most newcomers just beginning their first site of e-commerce. However, it should be handled both with some caution and careful planning. Choosing a keyword that has poor performance can cost you heavily.
The following are some important ways to a successful pay per click marketing campaign:
* Install a tracking code in your website - every PPC ad host like Google, MSN Yahoo!, provides code snippets that you can keep in your checkout process on your site, letting you to track the keywords that really pull sales to your e-commerce. This method alone is enough for using PPC - what your publicity medium can help you in tracking?
* Calculate a cost per sale that your budget can bear. Usually, your cost per sale should be linked to the profit you can get from making a sale. Basically, cost per sale is your total PPC spend divided by the number of sales you make. If you spend $100 and make 10 sales that your Cost Per Sale comes to $10. I have given an overview of my cost per sale for October 2007 at the end of this article. For everyone this may have different meaning, but my average sale runs about $40 and my average cost per sale approximately $15. Probably I break even on the first sale - my plan is to develop repeat clients and make substantial profit on the second and the following sales.
* Keep a close look at what you are spending. When you first begin with a PPC campaign you may spend more than what you can afford. You need to do this for sometime letting the law of averages to catch up and conclude what keywords do the trick for you. I would suggest letting your campaign run on a real set of keywords for almost thirty days before an appraisal of your campaign. All this while you will be looking after developing a set of keywords that work for you.
I sincerely hope that you and your business find this information useful.
